Leave a comment here with your guess about the thoughts running through Oli;s head in this picture. Oh what I would give to know what he's thinking sometimes! (unlike Jack, who never has a thought that doesn't come tumbling out his mouth, which I love, Oli is the strong silent type)

On father's Day, Aaron took the boys downtown to watch some of the Ironman events. I got to stay home with my yucky cough, but from the pictures, it looks like they had a blast. I love the way the boys are just lazing here in their bike trailer and taking it all in!

Dear Aaron,
Thank you for giving me these gifts, the two most amazing people I know. When it comes to being a father, I truly believe you are in a league of your own. I have never seen a man so committed to his family as you, and every day I feel like pinching myself to make sure it isn't some kind of dream, that I of all people have wound up with this fantastic husband who is also a wonderful father to our children. yes, i let my kids get in my bed and watch tv. and i don't feel bad about it because sometimes mama needs a break and, as you can see, this is a pretty good way to get one.
